We are seeking a licensed Electrician to support hands-on electrical installations for commercial and residential visual display projects across New York and New Jersey. This is a field-based role focused on installation, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of digital display systems and related electrical components.
This individual will also serve as the qualifying license holder for applicable jurisdictions, ensuring that all installations meet NEC, state, and local code requirements while actively participating in installation work on-site.
What you’ll do:
Communicate with Chinese-speaking vendors, contractors, and building contacts involved in installation projects to coordinate technical requirements, installation logistics, and project timelines
Perform hands-on electrical installation and wiring for digital display systems in commercial and residential properties
Install, connect, and test electrical components required for visual display installations
Troubleshoot electrical issues in the field and ensure reliable system performance
Ensure all work complies with NEC, state, and local electrical codes as well as OSHA safety standards
Act as the Master/Supervising Electrician of record for visual display projects in NY and NJ where required
Support electrical permitting processes when necessary
Work closely with project managers and building management teams to coordinate installations
Conduct system testing and safety checks to confirm proper functionality
Maintain active Master/Supervising Electrician licenses in required jurisdictions
Stay current on installation best practices, company technology, and electrical code updates
Who you are:
Bilingual proficiency in Chinese language required to communicate with Chinese-speaking vendors and installation partners involved in installation projects.
Active Master/Supervising Electrician License(s) in New York and New Jersey (multiple jurisdictions preferred)
6+ years of hands-on electrical installation experience
Direct experience installing digital displays or similar low/high voltage systems preferred
Strong understanding of NEC, state, and local electrical codes
Comfortable working in the field across multiple job sites
Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems during installation
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between project locations

The pay range for this position is $90,000–$110,000/year; however, the base pay may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.
