This is a full-time (40 hours), 10-month position with occasional summer responsibilities, reporting to the Middle School Principal.

Requirements
- Teach four sections of Middle School instruction focused on project-based learning.
- Implement the Middle School History and Science curriculum in alignment with the ICS Mission, Vision, and Statement of Diversity.
- Work with the Middle School principal and the Middle School team to ensure a positive and engaging Middle School experience for students
- Collaborate with the Science and History department regularly to enhance curriculum and the student experience.
- Develop and deliver project-based learning experiences each quarter.
- Use a variety of assessments to measure student understanding and drive instruction. Provide timely, constructive feedback on student assignments.
- Serve as an academic advisor to a group of students.
- Maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Attend all divisional, departmental, and school faculty meetings, including professional development days.
- Other duties such as lunch duty, carline duty, and chaperoning as assigned by the Middle School Principal.

- Expertise in Project-Based learning
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (Master’s preferred)

Benefits & Compensation
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's years of experience at an educational institution and prior administrative experience and responsibilities. Candidates will be offered a competitive salary and are exempt from overtime within the range of $58,500 to $98,520 dependent on experience.
