Innophos is seeking a Millwright for our Chicago Heights, Illinois plant to perform the repair, adjustment, and preventive maintenance of all plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for performing the repair, adjustment, and preventive maintenance of all plant equipment (electrical, stationary, and mobile)Assist other skilled craft employees in repairs, as needed.Perform the duties as a member of the Emergency Response Teams and Confined Space Rescue Teams
Shift
Rotating Shift – 1st shift (7:00 am-3:00 pm), 2nd shift (3:00 pm-11:00 pm), 3rd shift (11:00 pm-7:00 am)Initially assigned to 1st shift for trainingRequired to rotate between shifts throughout the calendar year – shift premium applied on 2nd and 3rd shiftsShift swaps are permitted, following site rulesAlternative work schedules may be required based on site business needsEligible for overtime pay on hours worked that exceed 8/day and 40/weekBi-weekly paid on Friday’s

Required Education and Experience
GED/High School Diploma or higherMust have a minimum of 3 years experience in repairing and maintaining production equipment
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Thorough knowledge of electrical and mechanical trades:Welding - oxyacetylene (arc)PipefittingMachiningAuto MechanicsMachinery repairEquipment operationsCapable of safely working on tasks independently and with others
Environmental and/or Physical Requirements
Work is performed in the plant as well as the maintenance shop. There are frequent physical demands associated with this position, including regular lifting (some heavy), stair climbing, squatting working in extreme temperatures, handling tools, etc.
