Innophos is searching for a Senior Maintenance Manager at our Nashville, TN plant location. Provide leadership to an industrial maintenance organization in support of a 24/7/365 chemical manufacturing operation. Responsible for driving continuous improvements in EHS performance, equipment reliability, manpower utilization, maintenance execution, and maintenance costs.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrates by personal example management's commitment to protect the environment, the safety and health of all employees and contractors working at the site, and to driving sustainability in plant operationsProvides vision and leadership to drive continuous improvement across all maintenance, utility, and facilities services activities at the siteDirects activities and workflow for each maintenance discipline engaged in the repair, maintenance & installation of machines, tools, & equipment, and in the maintenance of buildings, grounds & utility systems of the siteEnsures the proper planning and scheduling of all maintenance activitiesWorks closely with site Operations Manager to prioritize and coordinate resolutions to maintenance issues and operational strategiesEnsures that the mechanical integrity/preventive maintenance program is fully executedBudget responsibility for all site maintenance activitiesDevelops and implements appropriate safety training and personnel development activities related to changes in procedures, accountability and to obtain optimal operational performanceMonitors safety performance and housekeeping within the departmentFacilitate or initiate Root Cause Failure Analysis of failed equipment or safety incidentsDevelop, track and ensures timely reporting of report Maintenance KPI to drive continuous improvementConducts meetings to resolve or affect resolution of grievances with management, employee and union representativeRecommends personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measuresAssigns duties and examines work for exactness, and conformance to policies and procedures
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferredPreferred areas of study: Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering10 or more years of industrial maintenance experience with 5 or more years of experience leading an industrial maintenance organization
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
World Class Maintenance - TPM, SMED, 5S, and Autonomous Maintenance Storeroom Operations and ManagementReliability Improvement technologies, methodologies, and analysisUse of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Industrial safety with emphasis on life critical procedures such as Lock Out/Tag Out, Line Entry, Confined Space, and Hot WorkPowerhouse, utilities, and plant infrastructure managementExtensive Project Management - Concept to ExecutionIndustrial Maintenance repair and installation standards, codes, guidelines, and specificationsExperience in a food-grade manufacturing facility is a plus
