Radiologic Technologist I (Per Diem) #3400

Join Our Medical Imaging Team!
We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Radiology Technologist to join our team and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. 

Hours: As Needed 

Requirements: 

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Current Wisconsin Radiographer license
• BLS certification (required)
• CT certification (preferred)
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Job Specific Duties:
  • Correctly identifies each patient and reviews requisitions before performing exams
  • Demonstrates knowledge of all diagnostic radiology equipment and proper usage 
  • Assess patient condition and safety throughout exam
  • Reviews each exam for technical accuracy regarding positioning and technique
  • Prepares contrast and administers to the patient under established guidelines under the direction of a physician. 
  
  Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Possesses interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients and families.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to use computers, fax machines, and possess proper phone skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of radiology equipment
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and overhead work
