Why This Role Matters
We're looking for a next-generation video creator who sits at the intersection of motion design, AI-driven filmmaking, and modern videography. This isn't a traditional video editor role—we need someone who leads with motion graphics, embraces AI video tools as core production techniques, and can craft sleek, polished video content that cuts through the noise.
This role is a cornerstone of our marketing team—your work directly drives lead generation and interest in our product. You'll be the visual voice of our brand, creating content that educates our audience, amplifies our campaigns, and showcases what we do through compelling motion graphics and cutting-edge video.
You'll collaborate closely with marketing, content, and our social media specialist to ensure consistent messaging and creative excellence. You will be responsible for profiling AI agents in our marketplace, producing weekly webinar series, creating engaging short-form advertising and explainer videos, and capturing live footage at trade shows and educational workshops. The video style should be polished, educational, and visually dynamic, inspired by the Learn with Shopify YouTube channel.

- Event coverage: You'll capture footage at trade shows, workshops, and company events that we attend throughout the region
- Collaboration: You'll work hands-on with our tight-knit marketing team, requiring daily coordination and creative collaboration
- Equipment and production: You'll manage our audio-visual setup and production equipment on-site
- Agility: Marketing moves fast—we need you present to capture spontaneous content opportunities and respond to real-time campaign needs
If you cannot commit to working from our central Wellington office Monday-Friday, please do not apply.
