Operations Lead — (New York, NY)
Full-time | In-person | 3+ years of relevant experience required
Operations are core to us as a company. Our customers entrust us with their most sensitive and mission-critical records; mistakes in retrieval directly lead to lost settlements and delayed patient care.
As an Operations Lead, you will own the day-to-day execution and management of our Records Retrieval Team. You will help shape the team from the ground-up: hiring and training, process design, performance tracking. This hire is someone who can thrive with an extremely high degree of autonomy and ownership, and is someone who thinks as much about what we will need to succeed in a year as much as tomorrow.

Create new-hire orientation and continuous training programs for records roles
Define and track performance of the Records Team, in aggregate and individually
Restructure internal organizations to optimize efficiency and reward top performers
Design the internal processes and SOPs used daily by the Records Team
Model internal capacity and margin constraints to meet the demands of new customers and volume
Build operational improvements (Dashboards, Zapiers, Retool, etc.) to streamline tracking and visibility
Work with engineering to build new internal products to streamline record retrieval operations
A top-tier operator with 3+ years of experience in startups or high-growth industries.
Possess a strong, analytical mind, informed by data-driven decisions.
Comfortable with ambiguity and starting from scratch. In many cases you will define what ‘good’ looks like.
Technical or technical-adjacent: you should be able to build quick automations, tooling and dashboards, or eager to learn how to.
An excellent communicator. You will work directly with the records team to improve performance and solicit feedback.
Meticulously organized — you thrive in creating processes and improving visibility throughout the organization.
You’ll join a team that combines deep operational expertise with modern technology to rebuild a broken process. Your work will directly accelerate how quickly law firms settle and healthcare practices deliver care. This is a role with tremendous amounts of ownership, and, in parallel, opportunities for growth.
You will work directly with the COO to own our record retrieval operations end-to-end. Your role will have visibility and impact across operations, customer success and product. You will also be exposed and contribute to cutting-edge AI work our team implements every day. This is a role we expect to help steward the company through hyper-growth.
