Avoq is seeking a Paid Media Supervisor to serve as the account manager and strategist overseeing strategy development, timelines, reporting and budgets for clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies and global brands to the country’s top universities, non-profits, causes and foundations. This role can work out of either our New York, Washington D.C. or Chicago office.
WHO YOU ARE
- 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing with hands-on paid media execution across platforms.
- Ready to take full ownership of accounts, overseeing strategy development, timelines, reporting and budgets.
- Hands-on practitioner with deep platform expertise across LinkedIn, Meta, Google, and other self-serve ad platforms.
- Equally comfortable setting strategy and executing campaigns directly in-platform, including campaign builds, QA, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of the full paid media ecosystem—paid social, paid search, display, programmatic, and emerging channels—and how each channel contributes to performance.
- Data-driven decision maker who actively monitors performance and optimizes based on real-time results.
- Detail-oriented operator with strong command of campaign setup accuracy, tracking, and executional excellence.
- Fosters a digital-first culture and educates colleagues on tools, tactics, and trends.
- Confident communicator in client-facing and internal settings.
- Organized project manager able to prioritize and manage across teams in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build and execute strategic digital campaigns that are measurable, scalable, and performance driven.
- Execute campaigns directly in platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, Google), including setup, QA, pacing, and optimization.
- Develop and manage media plans aligned to campaign goals, budgets, and audiences.
- Build and refine audiences (retargeting, lookalikes, CRM-based) to improve targeting precision.
- Optimize campaigns through testing, bid adjustments, and budget reallocations to maximize performance.
- Monitor pacing and performance, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
- Translate performance data into actionable insights and client-ready recommendations.
- Troubleshoot platform, tracking, and delivery issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with internal teams on planning, execution, and client deliverables.
- Serve as a day-to-day lead for clients, delivering strong service and strategic guidance.
Requirements
YOUR EXPERIENCE
As a qualified candidate, you have experience in all areas below:
- 3–5 years of digital marketing experience in an agency, campaign, private-sector, or consumer brand setting.
- Proven hands-on experience executing campaigns in LinkedIn, Meta, Google Ads, and similar platforms.
- Experience managing campaigns end-to-end, from setup through optimization and reporting.
- Strong understanding of audience targeting, segmentation, and retargeting strategies.
- Working knowledge of platform mechanics including bidding, pacing, and ad formats.
- Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and attribution basics.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance and optimize based on data insights.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, GTM, and UTM tracking.
- Experience managing multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate performance insights clearly to clients and stakeholders.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $95,000
