About the Role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Partnerships & Business Development Manager to build and nurture strategic relationships with marketing agencies, design & development agencies, and technology partners for Flockler. Reporting to the General Manager of Flockler, this role is critical in expanding our reach and driving adoption of our social media aggregator solution. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding partners and new accounts, working closely with Marketing, Client Success, and Development teams.

Primary Responsibilities
Own the entire sales pipeline, specifically leading engagement, follow-ups, and booking & closing demosIdentify and prospect potential agency partners (Marketing, Digital, and Developer agencies) and complementary technology partners aligned with our target market (marketers and e-commerce businesses)Develop and execute a strategic partnership outreach plan to build a robust pipeline of qualified partners who drive predictable referred revenuePresent Flockler's solutions and value proposition effectively to potential partners, referral, and inbound prospectsNegotiate and finalize partnership agreementsBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizationsCollaborate with internal teams (Client Success, Marketing, Development) to ensure partner success and overall sales alignmentMaintain up-to-date records of partnership activities and sales interactions via HubSpotRepresent Relay Commerce and Flockler with enthusiasm and integrity - this is about building relationships, not just closing deals
Important Traits for Success
Proven sales and partnership expertise: Demonstrated experience in sales and/or partnerships, preferably within the SaaS, martech, or digital marketing technology space‘Give to get’ mindset: Partnerships are a two way street. The more value we can drive to partners, the more reciprocal value will be delivered.Effective prioritiser: Partnerships and sales have endless tasks associated with them. There’s only so many hours in the day. We’re looking for someone who knows how to organise and focus their resources for maximum impact Agency relationship builder: Experience working with marketing and/or developer agenciesDigital marketing knowledge: Strong understanding of social media marketing, content marketing, and how user-generated content drives engagement and conversionsCRM proficiency: Competency with CRM systems, with a preference for HubSpotSelf-motivated closer: Results-oriented and able to work independently while managing both partnership development and direct salesSkilled communicator: Confident in phone, video, and written sales conversations; able to thrive on listening, understanding, and guiding customers to solutions

Location
Portugal: This role is currently 100% remote, with the plan to transition to a hybrid schedule within approximately 12 months. Candidates must be based in Lisbon, Portugal. Once hybrid work begins, the team will collaborate in person 2-3 times per week, with flexibility built into scheduling.
