About the role
The Payor Partnerships Manager is responsible for serving as a trusted partner for our health plans, from implementation through ongoing value delivery, and is accountable for year-over-year retention, growth, value delivery, and expansion. The Payor Partnership Manager works closely across internal teams to manage day-to-day client interactions, lead health plan reporting and analytics, and identify areas of improvement/innovation in line with health plan partner goals. The Payor Partnerships Manager must be able to build strong relationships and support contracting conversations, serving as the subject matter expert for their program delivery strategy, panel growth strategy, operational customizations and overall outcome metrics.
Responsibilities
Support multiple health plan partners from implementation through ongoing value delivery.
Serve as intermediary to fairly represent partner interests and needs to internal stakeholders at Equip including product feedback, operational design/support, member support, and clinical care.
Quarterback day-to-day program delivery, working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver on program KPIs.
Partner with the Patient Acquisition & Marketing teams to execute on payor penetration and growth strategy.
Accountable for health plan satisfaction, renewals & expansion opportunities to new markets, states, and lines of business, contract adherence, contract P&L, contract utilization.
Produce and deliver high quality, actionable client meeting agendas, report content, etc.
Ensure our clients are well positioned for program success by executing a best in class implementation and account management strategy that achieves key program milestones and exceeds expectations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Previous experience in mental health working with Managed Care Organizations.
Proven experience working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver against aggressive project timelines using project management tools and processes.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build strong working relationships, navigate various roles and responsibilities within complex organizations, and effectively represent the needs of both the Equip team and the health partner client.
Demonstrated experience owning and managing multiple concurrent relationships with a diverse client base.
Key analytical abilities to generate program KPIs and insights both for internal and external stakeholders with an eye towards operational excellence and superior value delivery
Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, specifically payer and provider focused.

Physical Demands
Work is performed 100% remotely with travel to client meetings required at least once per quarter. Must live with immediate access to the airport and reliable transportation. This position requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
