About the Role
Join Moonpig as a Dutch-speaking People Coordinator based in London (hybrid working 3 days in the office) on a 12 month FTC.
This is a brand-new team making it an exciting time to join and shape how our People Operations function evolves as we grow.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle with a particular focus on our Netherlands population. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic detail-focused and eager to grow as the business continues to expand.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll support everything from onboarding and HR administration to payroll systems and employee queries, helping deliver a smooth accurate and people-first experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding internal changes and leaver administration ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Generate employment-related documents such as contracts offer letters confirmations amendments and reference letters including bulk letter creation
Support bulk upload of employee data into HR systems ensuring accuracy and data integrity at all times
Maintain and update HR systems and internal databases ensuring data accuracy consistency and compliance
Support monthly payroll administration including preparing and validating data changes and resolving discrepancies ahead of submission
Conduct regular data quality checks and support data cleansing initiatives to ensure systems and records remain accurate and compliant
Maintain digital employee files with a high level of confidentiality and audit readiness
Prepare routine people reports trackers and datasets and support ad hoc reporting requests
Act as a first point of contact for People Operations queries via email Slack and internal channels
Manage the People inbox prioritising effectively and escalating where needed
Support People Operations projects including improving workflows updating templates and enhancing documentation
Contribute to initiatives across onboarding systems reporting policy updates and operational efficiency
Occasionally travel as required to support business needs
About You
Fluency in Dutch (reading and writing) is essential
Proven experience (2–3 years) in an HR/People Coordinator HR Administrator or similar People Operations role
Strong knowledge of Dutch/Netherlands employment law
Experience supporting EMEA employee populations and understanding regional employment law is highly beneficial
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and quickly get up to speed. Training will be provided
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with strong organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience supporting onboarding processes document generation and HR system updates
Experience supporting payroll administration or preparing monthly payroll changes
Strong proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel with the ability to manage and manipulate data confidently
Experience performing bulk data uploads into HR systems
Familiarity with Adobe Sign or similar e-signature tools is beneficial
Comfortable using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
A proactive solutions-focused mindset with a “can-do” approach
High level of discretion confidentiality and professionalism
Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g. Namely) is beneficial
Evidence of supporting data cleansing or HR systems improvement projects is advantageous
Familiarity with Slack or similar communication tools is helpful
Enthusiasm for learning development and growing alongside a scaling business
