Te Tūranga – About the role
As the Programme Manager – Capability & Development, you’ll be a trusted partner who helps shape and deliver a mix of retail, personal and leadership development programmes. You’ll make sure everything runs smoothly, bringing together great learning experiences using a blend of modern tools and methods.
In this role, you’ll manage the full lifecycle of a wide range of leadership, people, capability and learning programmes. You’ll keep things running smoothly end‑to‑end — from delivery to updates and ongoing improvements. You’ll also make sure everything is fit for purpose, aligned with our organisational, P&C and Learning strategies, and delivers a great experience for learners across our stores, support centre and specialist teams.
Some of what you’ll get stuck into:
· Manage and be a lead point for a portfolio of Retail, Self, and Leadership Programs and short courses including scheduling, facilitation resources, projects and processes through to completion (including unit standard completion) assisted by the Learning Admin Team.
· Oversee enrolments, programmes/course promotion, administration functions, assessment processes, any required pastoral care and have stakeholder conversations about learning pathways and best fit for interested participants
· Proactively partner with our multiple external learning partners, our leaders, HR Managers, and owner operators, across all areas of the business, to anticipate and deliver excellence across end-to-end learning needs.
· Manage the licensed digital learning platforms licenses and promotion of use (eg: Growth Faculty and Linked-In-Learning)
· Work closely with the Business Partners and other members of the Foodies Learning Team to ensure the development needs of our leaders are fully understood and met.

He kōrero mōu - About you
You’ll have a strong track record in delivering through HR, OD, learning or training roles, preferably in medium to large enterprises. With the ability to think strategically, you’ll ideally also have experience working in a retail, or customer focused organisation.
To quickly add value in this role and thrive, you will need:
· Programme and portfolio management experience, learning design and understand adult learning principles.
· Experience working with the NZQA qualifications framework
· Experience operating as a trusted partner with leaders, providers and stakeholders
· Some coaching experience, experience working with leadership capabilities and programs, and some skill in learning facilitation.
· Practical commercial understanding with an appreciation for return on investment of initiatives.
