- Ownership of cluster-program:
- reporting (weekly, monthly, ad-hoc)
- Schedule management (incl., at any level of the WBS: scheduling from level 0 to the lowest level, baseline monitoring, progress tracking, forecasting)
- Cost control (incl., at any level of the CBS: budget monitoring, cost forecasting, cost estimating, accounting)

Key accountabilities:
- Ensure Quality and Smooth Operations of Cluster Controls & Governance:
- Oversee control processes to ensure they are effective and compliant with established standards.
- Implement governance mechanisms to support cluster operations.
- Own Cluster Program Reporting, Schedule Management, Cost Control, Risk Management, Change Management, Document Control, Project Coordination, and Governance:
- Coordinate and produce regular reports on the cluster program's progress.
- Manage schedules to ensure projects meet deadlines.
- Monitor and control costs to stay within budget.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact the program.
- Manage changes within the program and ensure they are properly documented and communicated.
- Maintain rigorous document control to ensure the integrity and traceability of information.
- Coordinate activities among various project stakeholders.
- Resolve or Escalate Cluster Program Controls & Governance Related Topics to Cluster Director:
- Address issues related to controls and governance at the cluster level.
- Escalate critical issues to the cluster director when necessary for timely resolution.
Major tasks:
- Lead the Program Control & Governance:
- Provide strategic direction for program control and governance.
- Ensure best practices are followed in all aspects of program control.
- Manage the Program Control Team:
- Supervise and mentor the team responsible for program control.
- Ensure the continuous professional development of team members.
- Develop and Implement Project Control Procedures:
- Create standardized procedures for project control.
- Ensure these procedures are properly implemented and followed.
- Provide Dashboards and Reports:
- Create dashboards and reports to track project progress.
- Analyze deviations from baseline objectives and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure All Project Vendors/Contractors Perform in Line with Project Objectives, On Schedule, and On Budget:
- Ensure all vendors and contractors meet project objectives, deadlines, and budget constraints.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance.
- Anticipate, Identify, and Address Relevant Issues:
- Proactively identify potential issues and bring them to the attention of relevant stakeholders.
- Create conditions for the timely resolution of issues.
Qualifications
Typical Career Path
- 15+ years of experience as Program Control management lead in capex projects
- University degree in engineering or equivalent professional education
- Several years' experience in the project control & governance of large-scale projects
- Goal oriented, results driven, takes initiative, leadership, and attention to details
- Effective communicator, with ability to proactively deal with senior executives and stakeholders, persuading them to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure in a multicultural and technical environment
- Fluent English, French is a plus
- IT tools : Office365 Package
