Turquoise is launching an Associates Program designed to bring exceptional early-career talent into the heart of our operations. As an Associate, you will be embedded on our Implementation and Customer Support teams, contributing directly to client-facing deliverables while building deep expertise in healthcare revenue cycle management and managed care contracting.
This role offers hands-on experience from day one. Associates support health systems and payers in understanding their contract economics, assist with validating our AI-powered contract intelligence tools, and help ensure clients receive accurate and well-structured data that supports their operations.

Responsibilities:
Support client implementations by building machine readable files machine-readable files (MRFs) that comply with federal price transparency requirements.
Construct scenario models that allow clients to visualize and analyze the financial impact of contract rates across payer and service line combinations.
Produce clear, accurate rate summaries that translate complex contract language into actionable insights for clients.
Identify patterns in repetitive workflows and propose scalable solutions, from documentation improvements to process automations, that reduce manual lift for the broader team.
Perform quality assurance on outputs from Turquoise’s AI systems, validating extracted contract “tags,” payer and provider identifiers, lines of business, and contract rate data for completeness and accuracy.
Partner with Implementation Managers and Support Leads to keep client onboarding milestones on track and data deliverables error-free.
Develop fluency in managed care contracting structures, reimbursement methodologies, and the regulatory landscape governing healthcare price transparency.
Continuously surface and document QA findings to inform improvements to our AI systems and internal workflows.
Here’s what you bring to the role:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field that demonstrates rigorous, analytical thinking.
0-3 years of professional experience; we welcome recent graduates and early-career professionals who are eager to grow.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, well-organized work.
Comfortable working with structured data: spreadsheets, tabular datasets, and logical frameworks are your natural habitat.
A problem-solver’s mindset: you enjoy breaking down ambiguous situations and working toward clear, defensible answers.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; you can explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Self-motivated and curious. You are proactive and interested in continuously learning new concepts.
Bonus points:
Exposure to healthcare, health insurance, or health IT through coursework, internships, or work experience.
Familiar with revenue cycle management, managed care, or hospital billing concepts.
Experience with SQL, Python, or similar tools for data analysis.
Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

This role is based in Chicago, IL. We operate on a hybrid schedule with an expectation of at least 3 days per week in the office. We believe that being in the room together. Whiteboarding, problem-solving, and building relationships accelerates everything.
