As our next Inbound Sales Executive, you’ll be on the front line of that growth. You’ll engage with trade businesses who are already interested in joining Checkatrade, build rapport fast, and turn conversations into long-term partnerships. This isn’t cold calling - it’s about converting warm leads into real impact.
Forget long lists, here’s what you’ll actually spend your time on:
Responding quickly to inbound leads via phone and email - no delays, no missed chances.
Understanding customer needs and showing how Checkatrade can help their business grow.
Presenting compelling value and handling objections with confidence.
Managing the full sales cycle, from first contact to closure, with a focus on quality and speed.
Recording activity and keeping your pipeline sharp in Salesforce.
Sharing insights from conversations to help us spot trends, opportunities, and competitor moves.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure new members get a smooth start.
It’s not about ticking every box. It’s about turning up curious, ready to crack on. You’ll do well here if you bring:
Proficient experience in inbound sales, direct sales or account management.
A proven record of hitting (and smashing) sales targets.
Resilience, determination, and a hunger to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence in handling objections and moving deals forward.
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal, that build trust fast.
A proactive, curious mindset and an interest in how markets move.
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
