Senior Backend Engineer (Drupal)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Drupal Engineer who will be responsible for working closely with front-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing and intuitive implementation.
- Developing new web applications built primarily using the Drupal platform, writing custom modules, identifying quality community modules, and architecting new Drupal bids.
- Work with designers and other developers to implement interactive web solutions and solve complex interaction challenges using PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- Setting up the new Drupal and understanding the current CMS platform and based on that provide and develop the solution
- We will be working on an existing SEO pragmatic platform and email-server project
Qualifications
- 3–5 years PHP web development experience with minimum Drupal Development in the last two years
- Should be working with Drupal 8 and above (Development and Administration) & Developing custom Drupal extensions and themes
- Firm grasp of Git-based source control, Drupal Restful web services and Competent with MySQL-based database concepts
- Expertise in authoring and extending Drupal modules & Competent in web services integrations (REST/SOAP)
- Thorough experience in leveraging Drupal’s hook & API systems, views, entities, taxonomies, and other site-building blocks
- Comprehensive knowledge of Drupal’s feature set and configuration
- Contributions to the open-source community
- Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS
- Drush and Docker is a huge plus
- Experience in e-commerce integrations/implementations is a huge plus
- Solutions-oriented thinking; always looking for the smart solution to a problem rather than jumping at the first answer
- Independent, self-motivated, Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Proven track record of always learning and growing
- Experience with caching and scaling techniques
