We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Analyst – Risk & Analytics to support enterprise-wide risk initiatives through data-driven insights and advanced analytics. The role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and monitoring risk across business functions using quantitative methods and visualization tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in risk analytics, strong data handling skills, and the ability to translate complex risk data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise risk management (ERM) initiatives by analyzing risk indicators, trends, and emerging risk scenarios across business units.
  • Perform risk analytics using structured and unstructured data to assess operational, financial, and strategic risks.
  • Develop and maintain risk dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to provide real-time visibility into key risk metrics.
  • Write and optimize complex queries using SQL to extract, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Utilize SAS for statistical analysis, risk modeling, and scenario analysis to support data-driven risk decisions.
  • Assist in the development of risk models, scorecards, and key risk indicators (KRIs) aligned with enterprise risk frameworks.
  • Conduct data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and reliability of risk reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Technology teams to understand business processes and risk drivers.
  • Prepare detailed analytical reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting risk insights, trends, and mitigation recommendations.
  • Support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal assessments by providing analytical inputs and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in Risk Analytics, Enterprise Risk, Data Analytics, or a related domain.
  • Strong understanding of risk concepts, including operational risk, enterprise risk, and risk measurement.
  • Hands-on experience with SAS for data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and performance optimization.
  • Practical experience building dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Ability to interpret large datasets and convert analytical findings into clear business insights.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Exposure to enterprise risk frameworks, governance models, or regulatory environments.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets in a corporate or consulting environment.
