We’re looking for an experienced Senior People Operations Manager to join our People team and take ownership of systems, programs, and experiences that enable our people to do their best work.
This is a high-impact, high-ownership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. You won’t just help build the roadmap; you’ll drive it through execution and iteration.
You're a builder and an operator. You've seen what "great" looks like at scale, and you know how to get there from here. You bring clarity to ambiguity, translating people strategy into practical, scalable systems and processes. You’ve built and owned programs end to end, use data to guide decisions, and know how to bring others along in the process.
At Turquoise, we’re building a company where people can do meaningful work, grow quickly, and have a real impact — and this role will play a central part in shaping that experience as we continue to scale.
Own and lead core people programs end to end from design through rollout, adoption, and ongoing optimization. This includes onboarding, performance management cycles, career development, and manager enablement.
Own and evolve our People Operations infrastructure: Design, implement, and continuously improve the systems, processes, policies, and documentation that underpin every stage of the employee lifecycle, with a strong lens on equity and inclusion.
Drive operational excellence across People tools and systems: Own our HRIS and supporting tools (configuration, data integrity, workflows, and dashboards), identifying automation opportunities and ensuring our tech stack works as hard as we do.
Turn strategy into process: Take high-level People priorities and translate them into well-scoped, well-executed operational programs that scale with the business.
Use data to lead: Track, analyze, and synthesize people metrics and trends (engagement, retention, performance, DEI) to surface insights and recommend meaningful action.
Act as a change management leader: Champion and communicate process and policy changes across the organization, ensuring smooth adoption at every level.
Serve as a functional mentor and force multiplier: Provide guidance, coaching, and thought partnership to colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders.
Partner with leadership to develop and execute against the broader People strategy, connecting day-to-day operations to long-term organizational goals.
Monitor employment law compliance at the federal, state, and local levels, proactively reviewing and updating policies and practices to keep us ahead of the curve.
Help prepare and present People metrics reports for senior leadership, connecting data to business outcomes and informing strategic decisions.
Stay up to date on industry trends and bring forward-thinking recommendations to improve our programs, policies, and practices.
8+ years of progressive People Ops/HR experience, ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with a track record of owning work at increasing levels of scope and impact.
Proven ability to translate strategy into execution.
Deep experience building and owning people programs end to end, including onboarding, performance management, and career development programs
Operational excellence with a sharp eye for inefficiency and a love of well-designed systems.
HRIS ownership experience. You've administered and optimized HR tools, built dashboards, and maintained data integrity across platforms.
A data-driven mindset and experience analyzing and presenting people data, using it proactively to identify trends and strengthen programs.
Experience coaching peers, influencing cross-functional partners, and influencing without authority.
Superior organizational and project management skills. You excel at managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and a bias toward action.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage authentically across all levels of the organization from ICs to the C-suite.
A "roll up your sleeves" attitude with the ability to operate autonomously in an ambiguous, remote-first environment.
Competitive pay with equity options
Stellar health care plan options (Medical, Dental & Vision), with FSA, DCFSA, & HSA options
Company-sponsored disability & life insurance
