Act as a strategic partner to the business, aligning people initiatives with overall company objectives.
Manage the end-to-end performance appraisal system, linking people performance directly to business outcomes, acting as the internal expert on performance management.
Drive leadership excellence, design and implement leadership development programs that scale with the business; foster a vibrant Leadership Community to promote peer-to-peer learning and alignment across the organisation.
Lead the evolution of our job architecture and career frameworks, ensuring every Upvenger has a clear, transparent path for progression and skill development.
Lead salary benchmarking initiatives and the creation of scalable salary bands to ensure competitive compensation.
Adopt a consultative approach to partner with leadership on organisational design, workforce planning, and talent challenges.
Utilise a data-driven approach to analyse organisational health and develop targeted interventions for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance and provide guidance on employment relations and employment law matters across Germany, the UK, and Europe.
Proven experience as a Senior People Partner or HR Business Partner in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Expertise in performance management, with a track record of managing complex appraisal systems end-to-end.
Extensive experience building and implementing Career Frameworks and Job Levels in a high-growth or scaling environment.
Deep knowledge of salary benchmarking methodologies and experience building structured salary bands.
Proven experience in building leadership frameworks and nurturing a collaborative leadership culture, moving beyond traditional training to create sustainable communities of practice.
Strong command of German employment landscape, with additional knowledge of UK and European regulations.
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate organisational health data into actionable strategies.
A consultative mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to simplify complex people topics for various audiences.
A proactive, owner-oriented approach to solving problems and delivering results.
Experience in the Fintech or financial services industry.
Experience working in a multi-hub or remote-first European organization.
Familiarity with HR tech stacks and data visualization tools for people analytics.
Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., LLMs, predictive analytics, or AI-driven HRIS features) to streamline people consultation, enhance data analysis, or improve the leadership experience.
