We are seeking an experienced Technical Site Manager / Construction Manager to lead on-site activities for the GILBOA hydropower refurbishment project.
The role combines construction management and overall site management, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely execution of all site operations.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Construction & Technical Management
- Manage dismantling, refurbishment, and reassembly activities of pumped storage units
- Coordinate site works in line with project schedule, technical requirements, and contractual obligations
- Act as the main technical interface with the client during site meetings
- Ensure proper coordination between mechanical, electrical, and civil activities
Site Management
- Overall responsibility for site operations, including:
- EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) compliance and enforcement
- Quality control and adherence to project standards
- Local logistics coordination
- Local procurement and purchasing activities
- Supervise subcontractors and local workforce
- Coordinate daily site activities and reporting
Client & Stakeholder Interface
- Lead and participate in technical meetings with the client
- Ensure clear communication between site teams, client, and headquarters
- Support progress reporting and issue resolution
Team & Organization
- A local administrative support speaking Hebrew is already part of the team
- The Site Manager will focus on technical, construction, and operational leadership
Required Background & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager / Site Manager on hydropower projects
- Strong expertise in hydro power plants, ideally including pumped storage
- Demonstrated ability to manage EHS, Quality, logistics, and local procurement
- Experience in refurbishment or rehabilitation projects is a strong advantage
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to work in an international environment
