ABOUT THE ROLE
SQUIRE is looking to bring on a Social Media Managerto own the company’s social presence end-to-end. This role will define the strategy, create and publish content, engage with the barber community, and serve as a frontline connection between SQUIRE and its customers. This role requires the individual to be both strategic and hands-on in order to develop content that educates, entertains, and builds meaningful relationships in order to establish SQUIRE as the most trusted brand in the barber industry.

YOUR CRAFT (Job Duties & Responsibilities)
Own Social Strategy & ExecutionDefine SQUIRE’s social media strategy across: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X / Twitter, and YouTube (short-form and long-form, as appropriate)Own content planning, calendars, posting cadence, and optimizationStay on top of platform trends, formats, and algorithmsCreate Engaging, High-Quality ContentYou will create and publish a wide range of content, including: Customer stories and spotlights Product announcements and feature launches Educational content and best practices Industry facts, stats, and insights Behind-the-scenes and culture content Short-form video optimized for TikTok and ReelsThis is a creator role — you will be expected to ideate, shoot, edit, write, and publish content regularlyEngage With Customers & CommunityActively monitor comments, DMs, and mentionsRespond to customer questions in a timely, on-brand wayRoute inquiries to Sales, Support, or other internal teams as neededSurface trends, feedback, and insights from social back to the broader teamEnable Employees & Customers to ParticipateMake it easy for SQUIRE employees, Barbers, and Show Owners to participate in social content and amplificationBuild simple systems and playbooks for: Employee advocacy Customer UGC and testimonials Reposts, collabs, and creator partnershipsMeasure & ImproveTrack and report on performance across platformsOptimize based on engagement, reach, and growthExperiment with new formats, creators, and content typesThe duties and responsibilities outlined above are not a comprehensive list, and additional tasks may be assigned from time to time based on business needs.
YOUR FOUNDATION (Experience & Skills)
Experience5+ years managing social media for a brand or companyProven experience creating content that drives real engagementExperience owning social strategy, not just posting executionBonus: experience in SaaS, beauty, barbering, wellness, or similar industriesSkills & StrengthsYou are:A social media native — you understand platforms intuitivelyComfortable being hands-on with content creationStrong writer with a great sense of brand voiceCreative, curious, and always experimentingHighly organized and consistentYou have:Experience creating short-form video contentStrong instincts for what will resonate with creators and SMB ownersExperience handling customer conversations publicly and privatelyAbility to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Marketing, and Product
