We are seeking Software Engineers early in their careers who want to grow with the organization and build strong fundamentals in backend, frontend, and production systems. This role is ideal for curious, hands-on engineers eager to learn how real-world software behaves in production.

You will collaborate closely with other developers, product managers, and designers to build scalable, high-quality software solutions. You won’t be expected to operate at a senior or tech-lead level from day one; instead, you will grow through guided ownership, mentorship, and increasing responsibility over time.

What You’ll Work On

• Data Integration with Third-Party CRMs: Build solutions that integrate customer data seamlessly across systems.
• Event and Fundraising Management Tools: Enhance tools for event management and fundraising to improve usability and effectiveness.
• Payment and Communication Systems: Develop and maintain systems that handle payments and facilitate user communication.
• High System Availability: Contribute to maintaining reliable, high-performing software systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and conduct integration testing to ensure code quality.
• Identify and resolve technical issues to provide a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software.
• Continuously learn emerging technologies and best practices and apply them to your work.

Requirements

Must-Have

• 1–2 years of experience as a software engineer (full-time or internships)
• Hands-on backend development experience (Python preferred)
• Basic frontend experience (React or similar frameworks)
• Understanding of HTTP, APIs, and client–server architecture
• Familiarity with SQL databases and basic query writing
• Experience with Git and participating in code reviews
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and iterate

Good-to-Have

• Exposure to background jobs, queues, or async processing
• Basic familiarity with logging or error tracking tools
• Awareness of performance or reliability issues in production systems
• Experience reading and modifying existing codebases
• Curiosity about system scalability and failure modes

Your First Year

First 3 Months

• Deliver small, well-scoped tasks with guidance
• Write clean, readable code and incorporate feedback
• Fix simple bugs with team support
• Understand codebase and system architecture basics

3–6 Months

• Deliver small features independently end-to-end
• Debug common issues using logs and error reports
• Improve code quality and reliability in assigned areas
• Demonstrate ownership of components or workflows

6–12 Months

• Own well-defined features or workflows with minimal supervision
• Debug production issues independently
• Contribute improvements to performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Participate in design discussions and incident reviews
