Solutions Engineer (Post-sales)
Role Overview
We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll lead technical discovery, solution design, technical validation and app building for our customers, helping them succeed on Hatch’s AI platform.
You’ll work closely with high-value customers to translate complex requirements into clear product configurations and integration approaches, and ensure what we ship actually solves real problems. You’ll be hands-on with POCs and implementation planning, while also feeding structured insights back into our roadmap.
This is a high-ownership, cross-functional role at the heart of Hatch’s customer journey. We’re looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, thinks like a founder, and loves partnering with different teams to turn messy customer problems into scalable solutions.
What you’ll do
Partner with GTM teams as the technical and product expert throughout the implementation and post go-live operation.
Lead technical discovery to understand customer workflows, data structures, integrations, data flows and goals, then translate them into solution designs on Hatch.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape solution architectures, integrations and features that make our platform easier to adopt and scale
Design and build customer integrations using low code tools.
Build custom reports and dashboards (e.g., in Sheets, BI tools, or SQL) that surface performance, ROI and opportunities for optimization
What We’re Looking For
~5 years of experience in Technical Account Management, Solutions Consulting, Implementation Engineer or a similar customer-facing technical role
Solutions Engineering Roles 5Proven success supporting enterprise implementations at a B2B SaaS company
Technical and data-savvy, comfortable working with/troubleshooting APIs, data flows, webhooks and product configurations; you use performance data and customer metrics to inform your recommendations
Conversant in Javascript and SQL, as well as low code tools like Zapier
Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
Growth mindset, curious and coachable
Eager to contribute to our knowledge base with new processes, playbooks, integration frameworks and best practices
Great communication skills with business and technical audiences
Nice to have
Experience with AI, automation, voice technology, CRM or customer engagement platforms
Background in CRM, martech, contact center or sales-led SaaS environments
Familiarity with implementation workflows and integrations (e.g., CRMs, support tools or data platforms)
