Job Summary
The Technical Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top technical talent to support the organization’s engineering and technology teams. This role involves managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers, evaluating technical skillsets, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience while meeting organizational hiring goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Recruitment
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job requisition to offer acceptance.
- Source, screen, and evaluate candidates for technical roles including developers, engineers, analysts, AI/ML and other IT positions.
- Conduct initial screening interviews to assess technical capabilities, experience, and cultural fit.
2. Talent Sourcing
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels such as LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, GitHub, and tech communities.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified technical candidates.
- Implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, team needs, and role expectations.
- Provide insights on market trends, candidate availability, and salary benchmarks.
- Coordinate interview schedules and feedback collection with internal stakeholders.
4. Candidate Experience
- Ensure a positive and professional experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain clear communication regarding application status, interview stages, and offers.
5. Recruitment Operations
- Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, candidate pipeline, and offer acceptance rates.
- Assist in improving recruitment processes and employer branding initiatives.
6. Employer Branding & Talent Engagement
- Promote the organization’s employer brand through professional networks and online platforms.
- Participate in job fairs, tech events, and university hiring initiatives where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in technical recruitment or IT hiring.
- Strong understanding of technical roles such as software developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, data analysts, AI/ML. etc
- Experience using ATS platforms and recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience hiring for software development, AI/ML, data engineering, or cloud roles.
- Familiarity with technical stacks such as JavaScript, Python, .NET, Java, DevOps , and cloud technologies.
- Experience recruiting in a fast-paced tech environment or consulting firm.
