Job Summary
The Talent & Capability Lead – APAC (India and Australia) will serve as the strategic talent partner supporting leadership teams across India and Australia, responsible for workforce planning, talent growth, succession readiness, recruiting discipline, and scalable people frameworks to support continued organizational expansion.
Reporting directly to the Global CHRO of DeepHealth, this role will operate as part of the global HR leadership structure, partnering closely with regional HR Business Partners and business leaders to ensure alignment of talent strategy, performance discipline, and governance standards across regions.
This position combines strategic design with hands-on execution. The individual will strengthen talent attraction, mid-career development, high-potential identification, structured career pathing, and succession sequencing while ensuring disciplined implementation of enterprise HR frameworks.
The role requires a process-driven, globally minded leader who can elevate capability rigor in APAC while contributing to the development of scalable talent practices across DeepHealth. The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking with operational credibility, bringing experience advising technical leadership teams while building disciplined scalable talent practices in high-growth environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with senior business leaders to translate workforce strategy into practical organizational actions, supporting leadership teams on organizational design, talent planning, and capability development.
Develop forward-looking workforce plans aligned with projected hiring growth, technical capability needs and evolving organizational structure.
Assess external talent ecosystems, including university pipelines, industry talent networks, and potential partner organizations, to strengthen long-term talent attraction strategy.
Design and implement structured career frameworks, competency models, and progression standards for technical and mid-career talent.
Support leadership teams in developing stronger manager capability for coaching, performance feedback, and career development of technical professionals.
Lead talent reviews, succession planning processes, and high-potential identification with measurable follow-through.
Strengthen compensation governance and promotion sequencing to ensure disciplined and equitable talent decisions.
Build retention strategies informed by workforce analytics, engagement trends, and attrition insights.
Elevate recruiting discipline and talent acquisition quality, including pipeline strategy, candidate assessment rigor, and selective direct sourcing when required; demonstrated proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter is required. Define and institutionalize candidate evaluation standards, pipeline strategy, and onboarding quality frameworks to improve hiring effectiveness.
Establish structured Individual Development Plan (IDP) processes and track development outcomes for critical roles.
Define and strengthen employment and compensation governance frameworks to ensure consistency, scalability, and regulatory alignment.
Monitor workforce metrics including retention, engagement, mobility, and promotion velocity, providing data-driven recommendations to leadership.
Align regional employment practices with Indian labor regulations and global HR governance standards, in partnership with HR Operations and Legal.
Collaborate with global HR leadership to implement enterprise talent initiatives locally and contribute to broader talent framework development.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
12+ years of experience in talent management, workforce planning, organizational development, or strategic HR roles within scaling organizations.
Experience supporting HR operations or business partnership responsibilities across multiple countries in APAC, including India and Australia.
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing structured career frameworks and succession models.
Strong talent acquisition acumen, including sourcing strategy design and demonstrated proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter.
Structured, process-oriented leader with disciplined documentation practices and execution rigor.
Experience operating within a global or matrixed organization.
Executive presence with the ability to influence senior technical and business leaders effectively.
Travel
This position requires domestic / international travel up to 10%.
