As Senior Manager of Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting, you will be a foundational member of Fluidstack's finance organization, responsible for ensuring our accounting practices are technically sound, audit-ready, and scalable as we grow. You'll serve as the internal expert on complex accounting matters — from revenue recognition across multi-element arrangements to the accounting treatment of equity, leases, and novel transaction structures unique to the AI infrastructure space. You'll also own the financial reporting function, driving the preparation and integrity of internal and external financial statements. You'll work closely with our CFO, legal team, and external auditors, and will play a critical role in preparing the company for future milestones including potential audits, fundraising, and public readiness.
Basic Qualifications:
CPA license required; Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred
Deep expertise in US GAAP, including ASC 606 (revenue recognition), ASC 842 (leases), ASC 718 (stock-based compensation), and ASC 805 (business combinations)
Proven ability to research, document, and communicate technical accounting positions through well-reasoned memos
Experience owning the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, footnotes)
Experience owning or supporting external audit processes end-to-end
Strong cross-functional communication skills — able to translate complex accounting guidance for non-finance stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience at a high-growth technology or infrastructure company
Exposure to international accounting considerations (IFRS familiarity a plus) given Fluidstack's global operations
Experience building or scaling accounting policy frameworks from the ground up
Familiarity with equity management platforms (e.g., Shareworks) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
Prior involvement in IPO readiness, S-1 preparation, or secondary fundraising processes
