Technical Pre-Sales Manager - Microwave E-Band Solutions
Astrome is a pioneering deep-tech startup specializing in millimeter-wave wireless communication technologies for terrestrial and satellite applications. Our innovative products, such as GigaMesh and SpaceNet, aim to revolutionize high-speed internet and 5G infrastructure deployment, especially in undeserved rural areas.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Pre-Sales Manager with specialized expertise in Microwave E-Band solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our sales and engineering teams to provide technical expertise during client engagements. Your primary responsibility will be to understand client needs, propose tailored E-Band solutions, and ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to implementation.
- Technical Consultation: Engage with potential clients to assess their technical requirements and propose E-Band solutions that align with Astrome's product offerings.
- Solution Design: Develop and present customized E-Band solutions, including system architecture and integration plans, to meet client-specific needs.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of Astrome's E-Band technologies.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales team to prepare detailed technical proposals, including cost estimates, project timelines, and technical specifications.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
- Market Feedback: Gather insights from client interactions to inform product development and improvement initiatives.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to ensure client requirements are effectively communicated and addressed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical pre-sales or solutions engineering role within the telecommunications or wireless communications industry.
- Strong understanding of Microwave E-Band wireless communication technologies and their applications in 5G and satellite networks.
- Proven ability to design and present complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a client-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with phased array antennas, beam-forming, and beam-steering technologies.
- Familiarity with software-defined payloads and satellite constellation design.
- Prior experience working in a startup or fast-paced, innovative environment.
