As part of the Smartland Tenant Support Team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every resident interaction reflects our commitment to service, professionalism, and community.
Provide prompt, professional assistance to residents via phone, email, and in-person communication
Respond to maintenance inquiries, service requests, and tenant concerns with care and accuracy
Maintain and update tenant records, ensuring clear documentation and timely follow-up
Coordinate with maintenance, leasing, and operations teams to resolve issues efficiently
Assist with lease renewals, notices, and general communication between residents and management
Support community engagement initiatives to improve tenant satisfaction and retention
What You Bring
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with residents and team members
Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new systems
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Dependable, team-oriented, and focused on providing excellent customer service
Nice to Have
Previous experience in property management, tenant relations, or customer service
Knowledge of Yardi, AppFolio, or similar property management software
Bilingual communication skills (Spanish a plus)
Background in marketing, event coordination, or community relations

Struggle with organization, follow-up, or multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Are uncomfortable handling tenant complaints or resolving conflict calmly
Prefer working independently without collaboration
Avoid direct communication or have difficulty maintaining professionalism under pressure
