Job Title: Quality Engineering - Software Quality Assurance Analyst
As a Quality Engineering Analyst, your mission will be to design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks that support our quality engineering initiatives. You will work on automating web applications, API testing, and integrating and executing tests using CI/CD pipelines. You will be involved in manual test case design and execution and collaborate closely with development teams, product owners, and fellow QA engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery through comprehensive test coverage and early defect detection in the software development lifecycle. You will also be applying AI concepts like Copilot in your day to day activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Must have 2+ years of hands-on project automation experience using Cypress/Playwright with JavaScript or Selenium Java
Must have 1+ years of hands-on experience in API automation using frameworks such as RestAssured/Karate or similar frameworks
Good to have a fundamental understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) and any version control preferable Git.
Should have hands-on experience in designing test cases from user stories and manual execution.
Must have good understanding of functional testing concepts, methodologies, and tools
Must have experience with test execution, defect tracking, and test reporting
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams
Good to have working experience in Telecom Billing and Rating systems(Amdocs, Netcracker)
Good to have working experience in Mediation Zone systems
Bonus Points
Design and develop automated test scripts using Cypress/Playwright with JavaScript for web application testing
Create and maintain API automation frameworks using RestAssured, Karate, or similar tools
Use Git for version control including branching, commits, and pull requests
Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to execute automated tests and ensure continuous quality validation
Collaborate with development teams to align test automation with application requirements
Execute automated and manual test suites, analyze results, and report defects
Build and enhance test infrastructure to support continuous testing and deployment
Identify, document, and track software defects through bug-tracking systems
Work closely with developers to reproduce issues, verify bug fixes, and ensure quality standards
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of Agile ceremonies
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices
Provide test status reports and metrics to stakeholders
Mentor junior team members on automation best practices and testing strategies
