About the Client
The client is a commercial video production company based in New Jersey. They produce brand story videos, campaign content, testimonials, and social media assets for small-to-mid-size businesses across health & wellness, construction/contracting, cannabis, fitness, and other industries.
They are a lean, fast-moving team led by the founder. The editor works closely with the founder and their EA to deliver polished, high-quality video content.
Who We're Looking For
- We need a reliable, long-term video editor who:
- Understands Western/US culture, modern aesthetics, and storytelling
- Delivers without hand-holding (10/80/10 model: we give clear direction, you execute, we refine)
- Communicates proactively — no ghosting, no over-asking
- Can work consistently on a part-time to full-time basis
Primary Responsibilities
- Client Deliverables (first priority)
- Testimonial edits and brand story videos
- Short-form campaign videos (30–90 seconds)
- Event recap content
- Internal / Social Content
- Short-form content for the client’s social accounts and pages
- Behind-the-scenes, educational, and personal brand videos
Workload
- At full capacity: 5 short-form videos + 1 long-form per week + ongoing client work
- Workload fluctuates based on active projects
- Initially starting with a backlog of content ready to be edited (LENS intro videos, Jersey Smooth, VSL)
Requirements
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Basic motion graphics (titles, lower thirds, transitions)
- Color grading and audio leveling
- Understanding of storytelling and pacing
- Short-form and long-form editing
- Familiarity with US/Western aesthetic standards
- Able to emulate styles similar to: Dan Martell, Alex Hormozi, Devon Levesque
Style & Culture Fit
- Must understand what looks "cool" vs. "tacky" by US standards
- Should bring creative input, not just execute mechanically
- Comfortable receiving Loom-based briefs and written feedback
- Values clear communication and on-time delivery
Trial Project & Expectations
- As part of the hiring process, this role requires candidates to complete a non-negotiable trial project before a final hiring decision is made.
- All required deliverables must be submitted by the agreed deadline. Late delivery or partial submission will disqualify the candidate.
- Quality and communication during the trial will determine the hire decision.
- The trial project is unpaid.
Benefits
- Client Relationship : You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
- Payments : All payments for your services will be handled by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
- Vacation Leaves and Holidays : While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client’s business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.
