We’re hiring our first Account Executive—the founding member of amplo’s sales team.
This is a rare opportunity for a seller who wants more than a quota. You’ll help define how amplo goes to market, shape how we talk about our product, and work directly with leadership to turn early customer traction into a scalable revenue engine. You’ll have clear targets and real ownership, with a front-row seat to how a category-defining company is built.

As our founding Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle end to end while helping build the foundation for how we sell.
Own and consistently hit clear, ambitious revenue targets
Run the entire sales process: outbound prospecting, discovery, demos, stakeholder alignment, negotiation, and close
Develop deep expertise in amplo’s product, customers, and the insurance ecosystem
Work closely with Product to bring real-world customer and prospect feedback into roadmap discussions
Help define early sales processes, tooling, qualification standards, and forecasting practices
Build trusted relationships with senior leaders at brokerages and agencies
Act as a thought partner to leadership as we evolve our go-to-market strategy and scale
This role will grow with the company—you won’t just execute the playbook, you’ll help write it.
4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in a closing role
A proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota
Comfortable selling complex, workflow-driven products with multiple stakeholders
Motivated by clear targets, accountability, and measurable impact
You thrive in ambiguity and don’t need everything fully defined to move forward
You take ownership and initiative instead of waiting for perfect process
You want influence—not just a territory
You’re excited to help shape messaging, process, and strategy, not just follow it
Strong discovery skills and the ability to translate customer pain into clear value
Confident presenting to executives and operational leaders
Collaborative by default—you work well across Product, Marketing, Ops, and Leadership
Organized, disciplined, and thoughtful in how you manage pipeline, follow-ups, and forecasts
Experience selling into insurance brokerages, agencies, or financial services
Background in insurtech or vertical SaaS
Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup
Prior involvement in building or refining a sales motion from scratch
Consistently hits or exceeds agreed revenue targets with a healthy, well-qualified pipeline
Built a repeatable discovery + demo sales motion
Operate as a trusted voice in GTM decisions
Established early sales artifacts
Develops deep fluency in the insurance brokerage and agency ecosystem
Remote-first environment with the ability to work anywhere in the US within 3 hours of EST

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $150,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for variable compensation, which will be discussed during the interview process and structured to reward strong performance and impact.
