About the Team
Join the Data Marketplace Tech team within the CSO organization—a highly visible group responsible for designing, building, and scaling solutions that free up data and empower business decisions across Fitch. The team collaborates closely with stakeholders across the organization to deliver next-generation data capabilities with a focus on faster time to market, data engineering, robust data controls, innovation, and leveraging AI/ML for data solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Architect, develop, test, and deploy robust data solutions and architecture diagrams to support evolving business needs.Lead hands-on coding and testing for data engineering and data initiatives, ensuring quality and reliability in all deliverables.Utilize tools such as Collibra (Data Governance) and Starburst (Data Mesh) to drive advanced data management and integration across the organization.Perform complex SQL queries and data analyses to directly support critical business decisions.Design, implement, and test APIs and data solutions using Python and related technologies.Estimate project efforts, coordinate and prioritize multiple projects, and mentor contractors and junior team members.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with broader business goals and present project status and technical insights to stakeholders and senior management.Collaborate closely with AI/ML teams to align data engineering practices with leading-edge use cases such as LLM-powered applications, intelligent assistants, and enterprise semantic search within our environment, which includes GPT, Amazon Q, and Microsoft Copilot.
You May be a Good Fit if
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.You bring 8+ years of hands-on experience in the data space, with demonstrated expertise in financial services.You possess extensive experience with Data Lake, Data Governance, Data Mesh, and Data Warehouses, and advanced proficiency in SQL for data analysis and testing.You have demonstrated experience programming in Python and possess expertise in APIs.You demonstrate proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and project management tools such as Jira.You are aware of data solutions supporting AI/ML workloads, including familiarity with MCP, knowledge graphs, and vector databases.
