Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Brand Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship is designed to provide real-world experience and enhance the intern’s knowledge and skills in a professional setting. The Intern will assist with day-to-day tasks and special projects, gaining exposure to Brand Marketing operations.
Please note that this internship is a 6-month full-time role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Marketing teams to write, edit, and proof compelling and engaging copy for marketing assets across three brands, including but not limited to: brand messaging, marketing taglines, USPs, eCommerce, press releases, influencer toolkits, VM, in-store signage, website banners, video scripts, and branded copy.
- Support the Social team by writing social copy for all launches and brand campaigns, ensuring messaging is platform-native, timely, and culturally fluent.
- Act as a guardian of the brand’s tone of voice, interpreting and evolving it into compelling copy for brand campaigns, product launches, and ongoing communications.
- Own and deliver ongoing editorial content on a monthly basis (e.g., Substack or brand-led editorial storytelling), partnering with Brand and Social teams to build deeper narrative moments beyond launches.
- Interpret creative direction and adapt points from marketing briefs into clear, effective key marketing messages for each product launch.
- Help build, document, and maintain tone-of-voice frameworks, guidelines, and examples, including contributing to AI-enabled copy tools (such as prompts, templates, and guardrails) that support scalable, on-brand content creation.
- Stay up to date with relevant beauty, social, cultural, and SEO trends, bringing a strong pulse on emerging platforms, conversations, and formats.
- Independently project manage end-to-end copy deliverables, approval processes, and deadlines for each launch using project-management tools.
- Regularly compile and report market, competitor, and cultural insights online and in-store to add value across marketing campaigns and communication platforms.
- Manage relationships with translators and ensure all translations are delivered to markets accurately and on time.
