Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive, experienced Civil Engineer with hands-on project management experience in a facilities management environment. The ideal candidate will oversee civil maintenance, refurbishment works, structural repairs, and minor construction projects across residential and commercial properties.
The role requires strong project coordination skills, cost control expertise, contractor supervision experience, and the ability to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil and structural maintenance works across managed facilities.
- Oversee renovation, refurbishment, and minor construction projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct structural inspections and condition assessments of buildings, pavements, drainage systems, and other civil infrastructure.
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, project budgets, and technical reports.
- Supervise contractors and ensure work is executed in line with approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure delivery within budget.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules for civil assets.
- Provide technical advice to management on repairs, upgrades, and capital expenditure planning.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies where necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing civil projects in a facilities management company or property management environment.
- Strong knowledge of structural maintenance, building systems, drainage, and finishing works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in cost estimation and contract administration.
- Good understanding of HSE standards and compliance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
