The Collections Analyst is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts with a primary focus on collections, past-due balances, and payment resolution. This role plays a critical part in driving timely cash collection through proactive outreach, clear communication, and effective issue resolution, while maintaining strong and professional customer relationships.
Actively manage assigned customer accounts and aging reports to prioritize and resolve past-due balances
Perform outbound collection efforts via phone and email to secure payment commitments and resolve delinquent accounts
Send invoices, payment reminders, and account statements to support collection efforts and customer follow-up
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or payment issues in partnership with internal teams
Accurately document collection activity, customer commitments, and follow-ups in Workday
Identify high-risk accounts, missed payment commitments, or recurring issues and escalate as needed
Assist with monthly collections reporting, aging analysis, and accounts receivable reconciliation
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
1–3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related finance or accounting role
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in customer outreach—particularly over the phone
High attention to detail and strong Excel skills for tracking, reporting, and analysis
Customer-focused, professional, and persistent approach to problem-solving
