Our client, a leading insurance solutions provider is looking for a Company Secretarial Coordinator
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Group Company Secretary/Corporate Governance Lead, duties include:
1. Ensuring compliance with Companies Act and financial laws
2. Ensuring timely statutory filings with Registrar of Companies and other regulatory bodies
3. Keeping proper statutory records
4. Replying to technical queries
5. Organising board meetings, committee meetings and shareholders meetings
6. Preparing and keeping proper minutes of meetings
7. Preparing resolutions and reports for Board
8. Assist in maintaining proper corporate governance
9. Liaising with all regulatory bodies
10. Keeping proper CDD documents on Officers, shareholders and UBOs
11. Supervision and coaching of staff
12. Perform any other relevant administrative duties
Requirements
PROFILE
1. Completed at least Level 1 of Chartered Governance Institute, CGI (formerly) ICSA and studying towards full completion CGI or any other acceptable qualification
2. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
3. Good knowledge of Companies Act, Listing Rules and corporate laws
4. Familiar with the financial services industry and financial laws
5. Fully conversant with the online filing system of the Registrar of Companies
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
7. Good team player
