Our Client in the FMCG sector is looking for a Head of Marketing.
The Head of Marketing leads the development and execution of the company’s brand and category marketing agenda for its FMCG portfolio. The role focuses on driving consumer demand through effective brand building, communication, market execution, and consumer engagement. This position ensures that marketing programs are insight‑driven, aligned with commercial priorities, and successfully implemented across all channels.
· Stay on top of evolving consumer needs, behavior shifts, and market trends within the FMCG environment.
· Conduct ongoing market and consumer research to support brand and campaign development.
· Develop and implement brand and category marketing strategies that support commercial priorities.
· Build strong, relevant brands using a full mix of communication channels, including digital.
· Plan and execute marketing campaigns aimed at increasing awareness, relevance, and brand preference.
· Define and activate the 6Ps of the marketing mix (Product, Packaging, Positioning, Pricing, Promotion, People).
· Work closely with the Sales and Commercial teams to ensure strong execution of brand plans.
· Maintain a strong working relationship with global partners where applicable and adapt global materials to local needs.
· Support the development and launch of new products and brand extensions.
· Monitor competitor products and performance to inform marketing plans and identify opportunities.
· Track marketing performance against KPIs such as market share, TOM awareness, relevance, and brand preference.
· Oversee the marketing budget and ensure ROI and effective resource allocation.
· Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team to ensure high performance.
· Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships and uphold the company’s brand presence.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
· Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in marketing within the FMCG sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership or Head of Marketing role.
· Proven track record in brand and category management, product launches, and integrated marketing campaigns.
· Strong experience in consumer insight generation, market analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
· Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, manage budgets, and deliver measurable business impact.
· Experience working with global marketing partners and adapting strategies to local markets is an advantage.
