We’re filling this role for a client, a fast-growing digital health company redefining how sleep disorders are diagnosed and treated through innovative at-home technology, virtual clinical care, and a patient-first approach to making high-quality sleep health more accessible.
We’re looking for a Director of Brand & Communications to define, own, and scale the brand strategy and narrative for a fast-growing digital health platform focused on improving access to high-quality sleep care. This is a senior, high-impact role for a strategic brand leader who can think like a storyteller, operate like a builder, and execute with speed and clarity.
You will shape how patients, clinicians, partners, and the broader market experience and understand the brand — translating complex clinical innovation into compelling, accessible storytelling. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creative direction, and execution, with ownership over brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and content systems that drive awareness, trust, and growth.
Define and evolve brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and voice across the organization.
Build a cohesive brand identity that resonates with patients, clinicians, and partners.
Translate clinical expertise and patient outcomes into clear, compelling, and trustworthy storytelling.
Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and channels.
Own and execute the organic content strategy across social media, website, landing pages, blog, email, PR narratives, and marketing enablement materials.
Develop storytelling strategies that simplify complex healthcare concepts into engaging, accessible content.
Provide creative direction while remaining close to execution and experimentation.
Leverage modern tools and AI workflows to increase speed, efficiency, and creative output.
Build and lead a small but high-performing content team.
Scale production through freelancers and agency partnerships as needed.
Collaborate closely with growth, product, clinical, and leadership teams to align brand strategy with business objectives.
Measure brand performance and deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
You’ve owned brand strategy end-to-end and thrive in roles where you can shape both vision and execution.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
7+ years of experience leading brand, content, or communications strategy, ideally in healthcare, wellness, or high-growth tech environments.
Proven experience owning brand narrative and positioning end-to-end.
Strong visual sensibility and creative direction skills.
Experience translating complex clinical or technical topics into clear, engaging messaging.
Familiarity with SEO and content performance tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
Comfort working with modern creative and AI tools (e.g., Figma, Canva, ChatGPT, short-form video tools).
Genuine interest in sleep health, wellness, or patient-centered healthcare.
