We’re filling this role for a client, a leading consumer Health & Wellness Platform — that has existing partnerships with Eight Sleep, WHOOP, Momentous, Peloton, and other top brands.
We are hiring a Director of Solutions Engineering to lead and scale this function at Truemed. Today, the Solutions Engineering team is a small but high-impact group supporting Sales, Success and Partnerships across technical discovery, solution design, and integration planning. The team currently includes 3 engineers and works closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
This role will lead the team and define the operating model that allows Solutions Engineering to scale alongside Truemed’s growth. This leader will build a high-leverage organization that accelerates revenue, reduces technical friction in complex deals, and ensures partners can successfully integrate and launch with Truemed.
This role reports to the Head of Customer Success and sits at the center of Truemed’s GTM organization. You will partner closely with Revenue Ops, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure customers and partners have a best-in-class technical buying and integration experience.
Truemed integrations span multiple surfaces including payment processors (Stripe, Adyen), ecommerce platforms (Shopify), and custom API-based integrations. Solutions Engineers partner with customers and partners to design scalable integration patterns, guide technical validation, and ensure successful implementation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone comfortable moving between executive conversations, technical architecture discussions, team coaching, and operational rigor. Lead and develop the Solutions Engineering team, setting a high bar for technical rigor, customer experience, and cross-functional collaboration
Define how Solutions Engineering supports the full customer lifecycle, from technical discovery and pre-sales architecture through handoff, implementation, and ongoing expansion
Partner closely with GTM leadership to improve technical win rates and reduce friction in complex deals
Serve as the senior technical advisor on high-priority opportunities and strategic partner relationships
Guide technical discovery, solution design, and integration planning across customers and strategic partners
Build scalable playbooks and frameworks for discovery, integration scoping, architecture design, security reviews, and launch readiness
Improve predictability across deals by identifying technical risks early and ensuring implementation readiness before contracts are signed
Partner with Product, Engineering and GTM to surface recurring product gaps and influence roadmap priorities
Develop reusable architecture patterns, demos, and technical enablement assets that increase field productivity
Ensure clean handoffs between pre-sales solutioning and implementation to improve launch timelines and customer outcomes
Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize integration patterns across common partner and merchant use cases
Hire, develop, and manage a high-performing Solutions Engineering team that multiple teams across the company
Help define Truemed’s external technical narrative, ensuring prospects and partners understand how Truemed’s platform, workflows, and integrations deliver business value
7+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Partner Engineering, Technical Account Management, or related customer-facing technical roles
3+ years leading Solutions Engineering or similar technical teams
Strong technical fluency with APIs, webhooks, JSON, system integrations, and data flows
Experience supporting complex integrations across payments, ecommerce, or platform infrastructure
Proven track record improving technical win rates, implementation readiness, or other revenue-adjacent KPIs
Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Partnerships, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success
Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear business recommendations
Experience building or formalizing Solutions Engineering processes, playbooks, or operating models
Strong operational instincts around forecasting, pipeline inspection, and team capacity planning
