Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a Financial Reporting Specialist for the Financial Reporting Department in our Marousi premises.
A Financial Reporting Specialist is a member of the Group Finance Reporting Team, that actively works with partners and departments of responsibility, providing financial analysis for Group reporting figures. Part of your role will be to develop, maintain and enhance financial reporting, both internal and external.
More particularly:
What you will do:
- Support month end closing process by preparing accurate and timely management financial reports
- Participate in the preparation of annual statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies
- Oversee the daily activities of the Reporting Team
- Liaison with auditors and other stakeholders with a view to smoothing the reporting processes
- Consolidate and analyze financial and non-financial data, considering Group’s goals and financial standards
- Support in Budget, Forecasts and Business Plan Process
- Work collaboratively with other finance departments on matters related to company operations and transactions
- Perform the above, maintaining highest standards of business ethics and following Group’s quality policy
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- BSc or equivalent Degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, or relevant field
- At least 5-6 years of experience of a similar role in a Reporting Department - previous pharma experience would be considered an asset
- ACCA/ACA certification is desired
- Previous experience at a Big Four firm will be highly appreciated
Job-Specific Skills:
- Excellent command of the Greek & English languages, both oral and written
- Understanding of finance processes and competing technical IFRS knowledge
- Prior experience working with SAP systems will be highly appreciated
- MS Suite literate
- Knowledge of reporting/consolidation tools would be considered an asset
- Ability to work within project constraints to ensure that milestones and delivery dates are met
- Positive attitude embracing change, teamwork and authentic communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Team management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, and meet deadlines
