The consolidated information is sold via our collaborative SaaS mapping platform to engineers and developers who need it to make early-stage decisions on real estate and infrastructure projects. Real time data access reduces labor and project delays, accelerates decision making and reduces project risk. Collaborative features ensure faster information flow and decisioning inside and outside the organization and better project insight retention over time.
Responsibilities
We’re seeking a highly motivated, outcomes-driven Founding Recruiter to join CivilGrid at a pivotal stage of growth. This person will own full-cycle recruiting across the company, with a strong emphasis on technical and go-to-market roles. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of sourcing, engaging, and closing top talent in highly competitive markets, thrives in ambiguity, and brings creativity, persistence, and resilience to every stage of the recruiting process.
This role is ideal for a hands-on recruiter who will work directly with our CEO and hiring managers, own hiring end to end, set a high talent bar, and drive measurable impact as CivilGrid scales.
You will be responsible for:
Owning full-cycle recruiting across CivilGrid, with a strong emphasis on go-to-market and technical roles, and additional functions with the organization.
Partnering closely with the CEO and hiring managers to define role scope, success criteria, and hiring priorities, while holding a consistently high bar for talent.
Operate as a metrics-driven recruiter, holding yourself accountable to quality, speed, and hiring outcomes.
Building and evolving recruiting processes, interview loops, and tooling that scale with the company while delivering a best-in-class candidate experience.
Measuring success through outcomes - quality of hire, speed, and team impact and taking full ownership of results with minimal direction.
Is this you?
You have 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong track record hiring GTM and technical roles.
You hold an uncompromising talent bar and measure success by the quality and impact of the people you bring into the organization.
You’ve helped scale teams in fast-growing organizations, operating with high ownership, minimal direction, and a strong bias toward action.
You’re comfortable partnering directly with the CEO and senior leaders to define roles, pressure-test profiles, and make high-stakes hiring decisions.
Thrive in a low-structure environment by creating clarity, setting priorities, and driving momentum.
Experience in an early-stage startup environment is a plus.
