- Lead and manage the full spectrum of human resource management including manpower planning, staffing, compensation and benefit, organisational capability development, employee development, talent management, performance management and employee engagement
- Responsible for staff welfare and training
- Responsible for maintaining HR data to meet regulatory requirements for workplace health and safety, industrial certifications and manpower qualifications
- Prepare the manpower plan and associated budgets for staff in support of the annual budget planning exercise and quarterly board meetings
- Implement a yearly appraisal system and undertake regular salary reviews
- Establish a talent management program in line with the strategic objectives
- Update the employee handbook and document all HR policies and changes
- Oversee the administration support in the organisation for various submissions, renewals, claims, surveys, etc dealing directly with the designated party or stakeholders
- Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
- Plan, coordinate, and drive HR events programs/initiatives on employee engagement/satisfaction and maintain an agenda
- Ensure office administration is running smoothly
- Process payroll for all staff
- Process foreign employee relocations and work pass applications
- Conduct bi-annual internship recruitment fair
- Support in digital marketing & PR initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources and/or a related field
- 6+ years of experience as a HR Generalist
- Candidates with IHRP certification and recruitment experience in a manufacturing/engineering organisation would be a plus
- Strong leadership skills to set clear objectives and track progress towards those objectives for the entire organisation
- Good knowledge of MOM guidelines and Employment Laws
- Familiar with MOM portals and various HR e-services
- Familiar with grants available for recruitment
- In-depth knowledge on recruiting interns from universities/polytechnics/ITE
- Highly collaborative
- Resourceful and quick to adapt to situations
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
