ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR – AUDIT – BERMUDA – 10% TAX – HR202
About this opportunity
Our client, a leading professional services firm based in Bermuda, is seeking applications for the position of Associate Director. This opportunity offers the chance to join a well-established firm known for delivering high-quality professional services while working with a diverse portfolio of international clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage multiple audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships
- Review audit work and financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements
- Manage, mentor, and develop audit managers, seniors, and junior staff
- Contribute to business development initiatives and proposals
- Ensure audits are delivered on time, within budget, and quality standards
- Liaise with regulators and other external stakeholders as required
What you’ll need
- Professionally qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- 10+ years' external audit experience, with significant experience at Manager or Senior Manager level
- London market and Lloyd's experience is required
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS for P&C and Life re/insurance companies
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities for Business Development
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
