To support our mission, we're looking for a Junior Pre-Sales Consultant to help our Sales Engineer team win new customers and deliver solutions - whether that's existing Apify Store Actors or ones we build from scratch. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute as a product manager for Triangle, our store for resellable solutions developed outside the public Apify Store. You'll work as part of a Pod (usually three engineers and one sales engineer), supporting the full journey from first contact to solution handover.
Please note: We are currently hiring only full-time candidates based in the Czech Republic.
Engage with potential new customers from the start of the sales process, helping discover and document their requirements and translating them into solution designs
Prepare custom project estimates for new clients, covering development, subscriptions, and service packages
Build and deliver proof-of-concept projects for potential clients based on your project specifications and guidance from senior team members
Monitor running solutions, inspect issues when alerts fire, create GitHub tickets if needed, and coordinate fixes with the engineering team
Track project scope and flag changes, deploy solutions to customer accounts, run user testing, and ensure smooth handovers
Coordinate with managed projects teams on handovers for successfully sold projects, under the supervision of a sales engineer
Help grow Triangle and develop your product management skills along the way
Have hands-on understanding of the IT project lifecycle, especially pre-sales scoping, delivery, and handover
Have a solid technical foundation, understand how the web works, and are eager to keep learning about emerging AI technologies
Can explain technical concepts clearly to any audience and gauge what information customers need to hear (and what they don't)
Understand the principles of service management, maintenance, and support
Think analytically, have good judgment, and enjoy solving problems
Take initiative and are comfortable moving things forward even when not everything is defined
Care deeply about customer success and using technology to make life simpler
Have a university degree in Business, Computer Science, Business Computing, or a similar field
Have hands-on experience or exposure to web scraping, automation platforms, or API integrations
Have worked in a customer-facing role, ideally one where you used technical knowledge or tools
Have collaborated with sales, engineering, or customer success teams
Have participated in or assisted with proof-of-concept (PoC) projects or technical demonstrations
