The company is currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer to:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers
- Remain hands-on in the design, development, and optimization of large-scale supply chain systems
- Drive engineering best practices, architecture decisions, and system reliability
- Collaborate closely with product, operations, and supply chain stakeholders

Requirements
You will be responsible for:
Technical Leadership & Team Guidance
- Providing day-to-day technical direction to engineers working across WMS, TMS and Demand Planning systems.
- Reviewing and guiding architectural decisions, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Establishing and promoting engineering best practices, coding standards, and development workflows.
- Mentoring and supporting engineers in their technical growth.
Hands-On Engineering
- Participating in the design, implementation and maintenance of complex back-end processes in PL/SQL and Oracle technologies.
- Improving system performance, reliability and security across high-volume retail operations.
- Contributing to modernization efforts, helping evolve legacy components into more modular and future proof architectures.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Working with the Engineering Manager to understand technical priorities and delivering high quality solutions aligned with the roadmap.
- Coordinating with cross-functional technical teams to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
- Helping maintain strong documentation, observability and operational readiness across platforms.
Requirements
Must Have
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering with strong expertise in Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
- Demonstrated capability in leading engineering teams or technical initiatives.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale enterprise systems, ideally in supply chain, logistics, or similar complex operational environments.
- Working knowledge of Greek and English.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to the .NET ecosystem.
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
