Cedar Park Med is recruiting for Mammography Technologists for immediate openings.
Schedule/shift:
- Day shift, 5 days a week
- 8.30am-5pm
- 13 week assignment with possible extension.
***Hiring for both local and traveler positions! Only candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for traveler roles. Rates vary based on experience and whether the position is local or traveler.***.
Required Qualifications:
- AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent,
- NYS license/registration or eligible,
- ARRT in Mammography
- Minimum of one-year progressive technical experience
- Current CPR certification required.
Duties:
- Will be responsible for performing mammography and stereotactic breast procedures under the director
order of a radiologist. - Will greet patients, prepare them for their exam and explain the procedure to be performed.
- Will position the patient appropriately for the radiographs and use proper exposure factors to obtain high quality radiographs.
- Additional responsibilities include: maintain quality standards for mammography as required by the 1999 ACR Mammography QA/QC Manual and Hologic Selenia Dimensions QC Manual.
- Maintain continuing education requirements specified by MQSA, tracking of patient information into the Radiology information system for documentation and billing purposes, and any other tasks that are necessary to maintain quality patient care.
