Surgical/OR Technologist
Cedar Park Med is hiring experienced Surgical Technologists for evening shift openings in an Adult OR. This opportunity is ideal for a certified Surgical Tech with recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience who is comfortable working in a high-acuity adult operating room and scrubbing a wide range of cases with minimal orientation and supervision.
Schedule / Shift
- Day/Evening Shift.
- Mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
- Shift times may include: 7:00 am–3:30 pm, 11:00 am–7:30 pm, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, 7:00 am–7:30 pm, and 11:00 am–11:30 pm

Required Qualifications
- Surgical Technologist certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of recent operating room experience within the last 4 years in an acute care facility of similar or same level as the hospital, including a Level 1 trauma center, Level 2 trauma center, teaching hospital, or equivalent size facility
- Scrub experience required
- Experience in trauma, ortho, general, ENT, vascular, and GYN cases
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Scrub and assist during operative cases in the Downtown Adult OR
- Support trauma, orthopedic, general, ENT, vascular, and GYN procedures
- Ensure instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and functioning properly
- Assist the surgical team in maintaining safe, efficient operating room workflow
- Follow hospital and department policies, procedures, and sterile technique standards
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia staff, and other team members
