Marine Biologist
Deliver friendly, personalized service to guests while maintaining professional conduct and resort standards.
Conduct marine awareness talks and orientation sessions to educate guests about Maldives marine life and conservation.
Guide guests on snorkeling and scuba diving trips.
Participate in marine conservation projects such as coral restoration and reef rehabilitation.
Study and monitor marine species and reef health, assessing environmental impacts and recommending improvements.
Support environmental education programs for guests, staff, and local communities.
Prepare reports, presentations, and awareness materials related to marine conservation and sustainability projects.
Maintain administrative records, surveys, and sustainability notice boards.
Follow resort procedures, including team collaboration, punctuality, safety, and emergency protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology, Marine Science, Biology, or Environmental Science.
- Professional diving certification from Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) or Scuba Schools International (SSI) at Divemaster or Instructor level.
- Rescue Diver certification.
- Emergency First Response (EFR) / First Aid & CPR certification.
