- Performs order entry according to standard operating procedures and Company same day shipping goal
- Responds to customers promptly via phone and email
- Documents conversations concisely yet with enough detail that others can understand what transpired upon review
- Effectively responds to and prioritizes multiple requests for service from customers and colleagues alike
- Collaborates with the Distribution Center, Accounting, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc. as directed by the Leadership team
- Provides training and guidance to the Order Management Specialists
- Interacts and engages with Operations and Shipping departments to resolve shipment issues and ensure orders and products are shipping on time and accurately
- Proactively communicate issues back to management and follow order management processes
- Assist in developing workflow improvement, including process
- Appropriately escalates more complex and/or sensitive customer issues to the Leadership Team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED, or equivalent experience and training are typically required
- Minimum of two (2) years of order entry and customer service experience in a complex environment, while contributing in a growing capacity
- Order entry experience is preferred, but not required
- Enjoys order entry and has very strong data entry skills
- Self-motivated with a knack for being meticulous/detailed oriented
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment; learns and synthesizes information quickly
- Is adaptable and flexible
- Is a dependable professional who has great attention to detail
- Works quickly and efficiently with a high degree of quality
- Is comfortable on the phone
- Has excellent follow-up, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Ability to analyze a problem, solicits input to seek alternative solutions, and recommend/implement solutions
- Capability to engage in constructive conflict resolution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve workflow problems
- Experience collaborating and communicating with sales leaders across the organization
