Patient Care Coordinator
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Virtual Assistant to support our healthcare operations. The ideal candidate has prior medical experience, is professional and confident on camera, and can support patient-facing and backend clinical workflows.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage prescription-related tasks, including refill requests and coordination with providers and pharmacies
- Handle patient check-in and check-out, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth patient flow
- Process and track referrals to specialists, including follow-ups and required documentation
- Create and update patient action plans as directed by providers
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare documentation standards
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and internal team members via phone and video calls
Requirements
- Medical background required (clinic, hospital, or healthcare virtual setting)
- Experience in medical administrative support
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and patient coordination
- Presentable and professional on camera (required to be on camera during shift)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment

- Working Hours: Between 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST
